Our Story

We have lived in the Texas Hill Country  for over twenty years, enjoying the history, people and places and putting down roots for our families.
We have always been inspired and drawn to the connection with the stories of the past through the old and unexpected treasures that we find at Estate sales, shops, markets and stranger’s attics.
After years of collecting and cultivating, and with the launch of our children, it was time to start having fun with a new direction in our love of all things “aged”. After finding this uncommon historic industrial building and surrounding architectural buildings and land, we sold our successful vintage rental business and poured our hearts into our little piece of Comfort, Texas.
We began the process of finding the “bones” of the building in December 2015, and delightedly opened the doors for business in May 2016.  The people and businesses of Comfort have given us such a warm welcome and we are eager to follow our dreams for the buildings, land and opportunities to serve our clients in new and exciting ways.

I’ve been in the Texas Hill Country for a little over 20 years and I have been blessed to raise four beautiful children in a great community.  My life has drastically changed in the past year because of the birth of my first grandbaby, Malachi.  Owning my own business gives me the freedom to escape to Lubbock and visit him on a whim.  We are thrilled to be in Comfort and look forward to doing life with the community here.

I have called Boerne and the Hill Country home for 21 years.  I am a part-owner of the 8th street Market with my mother, Robin Morgan and business partner. Along with 8th street, I work for my dad’s ministry and have a radio rental business as well.  In my free time I enjoy playing soccer with my friends and fishing the creeks and ponds of the hill country.
